(→ — Full journey)
A journey built step by step, not a single event.
My name is Nathan Fernandes. I first became interested in tech in middle school, experimenting with online communities and small personal tools.
Discovering ChatGPT, then web development in high school, let me move gradually from using tools to building them. I made my first websites, explored Python, JavaScript and PHP, then discovered tools like Bolt.new, Supabase, Claude and Claude Code.
These tools let me build increasingly complete projects: websites, full-stack applications, GPT assistants, dashboards, automation tools and mobile prototypes.
But my goal isn't only to develop. What interests me is understanding a problem, imagining a useful solution, building it, testing it and thinking about how to turn it into a product or a viable business.
2019–2022
First experiments
I started using the computer for more than gaming. I discovered building on Discord, configuring tools and taking on my first responsibilities in an online community.
2022–2023
Discovering ChatGPT
I started using GPT-3.5 as soon as it went public — first for school, then to understand and build small digital tools.
2023–2024
First full redesign of a professional website
Discovering HTML in class sparked my interest in development. I carried out a full redesign of the website tied to my father's business.
2024–2025
Applications and first offers
I discovered Bolt.new, Supabase and the fundamentals of full-stack development. I built several projects and a first custom GPT offer with a site, a backend and a Stripe checkout flow.
2025
Founding SYNN-IA
I registered my micro-business in July 2025, after a first paid engagement. Its commercial relaunch begins as I come of age, over the summer of 2026.
2025–2026
Full-stack apps and first business tools
Web applications, a mobile accessibility project (Sonic Vision), business tools and prototypes using artificial intelligence. I adopted Claude and Claude Code as daily working tools.
Summer 2026
A new chapter
NowNow of legal age, I'm preparing the relaunch of SYNN-IA, my entry into BSB's Bachelor in Management and my application for national student-entrepreneur status.
